Bisrat Melaku is the proud owner and founder of the Uraga Bisrat one of the Uraga's finest washing station
at stunning heights of 2,240 meters above sea-level.
Bisrat uses water from the small Tebie River to wash and ferment his coffee between 36 and 48 hours,
depending on the weather. After washing the parchment, he sundries the coffees between 7 and 21 days,
with shade nets and cloths to protect the parchment from the scorching sun and possible rainy days.
Walisho is a regional coffee landrace named for a tree indigenous to Gedeo and the surrounding area,
( Uraga locate in Gedeo Eastern boarder area.)
It has large cherries, long leaves with inconsistent yearly yields.
